Charming inn with friendly staff.

During my stay at Ocean Echo Inn & Beach Cottages, I appreciated the well-designed Beachcomber Cottage, which had a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor space perfect for grilling. The location is ideal, just a short walk to a quiet beach, allowing for peaceful leisure time after work. The staff provided excellent customer service, ensuring my needs were met throughout my stay.

The mattress was uncomfortable and could benefit from replacement.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Captains Quarters. The room offered a cozy atmosphere with a breathtaking view of the beach. While the coffee pot could use some improvement, the welcoming staff and delightful breakfast made it a memorable experience.

i had a fantastic time during my stay at ocean echo. the ocean view king room was spacious and cozy, allowing for relaxing evenings listening to the waves. this stay exceeded my previous experiences in santa cruz, and i loved being steps away from the beach.

The Captains Quarters room was pretty spacious, which was nice. I loved the sea view from the window, and the sound of the ocean waves was super relaxing. However, the shower door didn't close well, which was a bit annoying. Overall, it was a comfy spot to unwind after a beach day.

ocean echo inn & beach cottages is one of my favorite spots. the sea otter room felt just like a cozy tiny house! the location is perfect, right near a peaceful private beach. the staff were super nice and I loved having the option to bring my dog along for the adventure.

Inconsistent housekeeping raised some eyebrows, as various guests found their floors dirty, which can be a turnoff after a long drive. Noise levels can be an issue, with sounds from above and outside creeping in, especially in lower-level rooms like the 'Sea Otter Room. ' On top of that, unexpected fees have frustrated guests, creating a lack of transparency around total costs and reservations.

Great beach access and fun outdoor dining, but the Wi-Fi was weak.

We had a fantastic stay at the Driftwood Cottage, which was perfect for our family getaway. The private patio was awesome for relaxing, and the beach was super close, just a quick stroll away! The ambiance is incredibly charming and peaceful, making it a hidden gem. The accommodations are spacious and well-maintained, ensuring comfort during the stay.

Felt almost like at home, no complaints.
